January the 18th. 1658

The last Will and Testament Nuncupative of John Bottrell As he did then declare in presence of William Bodenar William Badcock and others as followeth

First he bequeathed his Soule to God and his Body to Christian buriall and his wordly goods as followeth.

Item he gave and bequeathed all his goods and Chattels unto Rebecka his wife, whome he appointed to be his full Executrix.

Item he gave unto Richard his sonne five pounds, to be paid him out of the lands that his mother did holde after her decease.

Item he gave and bequeathed unto Katherine his Daughter fifteen pounds, to be paid out of the lands that his mother did holde after her decease.

In the name of god amen.

I john James of the parrish of Sennen in the Countey of Cornwall Tinner Being at this time Sick and weake of Body but sound and perfect memory thanks and praise be given to Almighty god for it Assuredly trusting through the only merits of our Savior Jesus Christ to be made partaker of Everlasting happiness do make and ordaine this my last will and testament in manner and forme as followeth.

Imprs.  I give and bequeath my soule into the hands of my Redeemer and my body to receive Christian burial

Itt   I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary & her fower Children the sum of five shillings to be payd by my Executrix hereafter named after my death.

Itt   I give and bequeath unto my son John one shilling to be payd after my death.

Itt   I give and bequeath unto my son Edward the sum of one shilling to be paid after my death.

Itt   All the rest of my goods and Chattells moveabell and unmoveable whatsoever and wheresoever not formerly given or bequeathed And whereas I have the moety of a small parcel of Land in the town of Escolls in the parrish of Sennen which I hold for 99 years determinable on Certaine lives by the demise and grant of William Godolphinn of the parrish of Paule in the Countey of Cornwall Esquire I give & bequeath unto An my wife who I do make my full and whole Executrix of this my last will and testament and she to see my will performed

In the name of god Amen; I John hocking of the pish of Sennen husbandman being sick of body but of pfect sound and memory thanks be given to almighty god for it Doe make and Declare this my last will and Testament this Twenty Eight Day of November in the yeare of our Lord god 1685 in manner and forme following –

Impris.  I give and bequeath my Soule into the hands of Almighty God my maker and redeemer, and my body unto Christian burial.

Itt   I give and bequeath unto Margery my Eldest Daughter the sum of Five pounds of lawfull money of England.

Itt   I doe give and Bequeath unto Elizabeth my second Daughter the sum of Forty shillings and all her stock shee have uppon my lands Cleare without paying anything towards there keeping. 

I doe give and bequeath unto Alice my youngest Daughter the sum of five pounds, of like lawfull money of England.

I doe give and bequeath all my land and Chattell estates in Treviskan in the pish of Sennen aforesaid unto Thomasin my wife and John my Son and all the rest of my goods and Chattells not formally given whome I doe make and ordaine to be my full Executors Joyntly; provided Always that my wife shall on her Death leave and surrender the said lands and Chattells Estates unto my said son John hocking his heires Executors or Assigns; and soe I doe ordaine them to See this my will to be fulfilled after my decease in wittnes where of I have unto sett my hand and seale the daye and yeare above written

I William Williams of the parish of Sennen In the County of Cornwall, Fisher-man being at this present time weak and sick of body but of a sound and perfect mind and Memory Thanks and prays be given to almighty God assuredly trusting, Through the only Merrytts of our saviour Christ to be made ptaker of Everlasting happiness att the Last Day, doe now make and ordaine this my Last Will and Testament, in manner and forme following,

In the Name of God Amen I Phillip Bosistoe Belonging to her Majts Captains in Plymouth Beinge weake of Bodey But of Sound and Dispossing Minde and Memorey Praised be God for it Have made and ordained this my Last Will and Testament In Manner and form following Viz F irst I Give and Bequeath my Soule into the hands of Almighty God my Creator Trusting that in and through the merritts of my Saviour Jesus Christ To Receive full and Free pardon and forgiveness of all my sinns How Great Soebe And my Body to Christian Buriall att the Discretian of my Exectr. Hear after Named And Touching such Goods and Chattels Money Due By Bond Contract and otherwise I give and Bequeath in maner and Form followinge

Item     I Give and bequeath unto My Mother Ann Bosistoe the sum of Tenn pounds to Be paid her in Fortey         Shilling per An[num] By my Exectr. In Case she the said Ann Bosistoe Shall Live so long.

Item    I give unto my Brother Marten Bosistoe And to my sisters Mary And Alce The sum of Five shillings Each to be paid within Three monthes after my Desease by my Exectr.

Item    I give unto my Kinswoman Jane Bosistoe one Gould Ring which I now wear and also a Hood & Scarf to be provided by my Exectr.

Item    I Give unto Mrs Margarett Bartlett on Gould Ring which I now wear And a Hood & Scarf to be provided by me Exectr.

Item    I Give unto John Smith of Caxgreen  [Cargreen] in Landilp [Landulph] my silver watch.

Lastly   I Give and Bequeath unto my Brother Richard Bosistoe all the Rest and Remainder of my Goods And Chattells Money Due By Bond Contract and other wise after my Legacys aforesaid are Sattisfied and paid and my Funerall Charges, And I Give him The said Richard Bosistoe All my wearing aparrell of What Sort So Ever They are or Bee And Doe Make him the said Richard Bosistoe My Sole And hole Exectr. In the name of god Amen. I John osborn of the pish of Sennen in the county of Cornwall, husbandman being sick of Body and of perfect sence and sound memory thanks be given to god for it  I doe make and declare this my Last will and testament in maner and forme following
